Mariana Cadic, founded Boot N Shoot in Warminster, PA, a western boutique and firearms retail store.
Mariana was born in Bucharest, Romania. In 1988 she and her family escaped from behind the Iron Curtain and moved
to Richmond, VA. Mariana is bilingual, and there is a running joke within her family and among other Romanians that
she speaks Romania with a southern accent. In high school, Mariana bought a stand alone food truck in the Texaco Gas
Station parking lot in Petersburg, VA.
Mariana worked seven days a week serving meals to shift workers from Walmart
Distribution Center and Chaparral Steel Mill. After a couple years Mariana saved up enough money to sell the food
truck and started attending University of Richmond, where she studied Language Arts; shortly after, she transferred
to Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, earning a Biology degree to further her studies in Medical School.
Mariana is a powerful force in the workplace. She uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage
others to work hard and succeed. Mariana is inspired daily by her husband and their four children. In her free
time, Mariana is an avid tennis player. She has been playing tennis since high school and earned the name on the
court "Marianimal." Gardening and Romanian cooking are also her passions at home with her family.
